NUTRITION FACTS
Sheep milk is one of the most nutritional milk available in the world today. Nutrients like vital Minerals (Calcium, Zinc, Phosphorus, Magnesium, Iron), Vitamins(A, B1 – Thiamine, B2 –Riboflavin, B3 –Niacin, B5, B6, B9 –Folic Acid, B12, C, D, E) and 10 Essential Amino Acids are much richer in sheep milk than in cow’s or goat’s milk.
It is even said that sheep milk is the closest to human breast milk in nutrition.
Most people who are allergic to dairy products can use sheep milk products. The fat globules in sheep milk are smaller than those in cow’s milk, making sheep milk more easy to digest.
More importantly, sheep milk fats are comprised of a higher proportion of short- (SCT) and medium-chain fatty acids(MCT), which have recognized health benefits, such as reducing cholesterol levels and making it easier to digest.
Sheep milk also has more Conjugated Linoleic Acid (CLA) than the milk from goats, cows, and humans. CLA is known to be a cancer-fighting and fat reducing.
